Located in the Old Trenton Neighborhood is a 50 ft mural called “From Taino to Trenton" by Artist Jazmyn Jones and displayed at the Trenton Public Library. This mural aims to chronicle the migration of Puerto Rican heritage from the Taino era to the present-day city of Trenton. The artwork showcases the historical journey and the cultural evolution of the Puerto Rican community, highlighting their experiences, struggles, and triumphs over time. Ubicado en el Viejo Barrio de Trenton se encuentra un mural de 50 pies llamado "Desde los Taino hasta Trenton", creado por la artista Jazmyn Jones y exhibido en la Biblioteca Pública de Trenton. Este mural tiene como objetivo relatar la migración del patrimonio puertorriqueño desde la era Taina hasta la actual ciudad de Trenton. She is also co-founder of the TMA Center (Trenton Makes Athletes) alongside her husband, Chester Jones. Together, they provide invaluable opportunities and experiences for young athletes to discover and expand upon their talents while fostering the fundamental value of education.
